Hi Tweets,

A few hours of birding produced some nice sightings in the Moses Lake area.
A male EURASIAN WIGEON was observed with a plethora of American Wigeon at
Neppel Landing Park in Moses Lake. The WESTERN GULL first located on 11/4
remains and was well observed as well. Duck and goose numbers are increasing
and all common species were well represented. Swans have also arrived and
two Trumpeter Swans were picked out of the many Tundra Swans at Montlake
Park in Moses Lake.
Bonaparte's Gulls were also present in good numbers with over 30 noted in
several locations on both Moses Lake and Potholes Reservoir.
Dunlin were present in good numbers and are expected to winter in the Moses
Lake area again this year. Nearly 100 were counted in four different
locations.
A adult male Cooper's Hawk hunted Potholes State Park and kept most of the
land birds under cover.

Good Birding
