We learned some sad news this morning from one of the Lincoln Park regulars
that the Barred Owl, who has become a park treasure, died a week or so ago.
Apparently one of the people who found the bird on the ground noticed that
it was injured, and took it to a Veterinary clinic, but the bird died upon
arrival at a clinic. It was thought that it might have been struck by a
car, as it seemed to be suffering some internal injuries.

We will miss having her in the park!
