I spent most of the morning doing some birding in Discovery Park. It was foggy almost all of the time I was there and the birding was quiet overall. The WHITE-THROATED SPARROW was still present at the north end of the south parking lot. I could not relocate the SNOW BUNTING, and understand it has not been seen for a few days. I had two RED-THROATED LOONS near the Westpoint Lighthouse, and there was a GREAT HORNED OWL just across the main access road from the Visitors Center.
Cheers;
