Yesterday (11.20.05) I didn't find Snowy Owls at Big Ditch, but in the afternoon there were 2 GREAT EGRETS perched on a piece of driftwood easily viewed from the turnstyle.

Big Ditch is in Snohomish County, north of Stanwood, near the Skagit County line.
