Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

The FALCATED DUCK returned November 18 to the RV Park east of I-5 at the
Coburg Exit. You must check in at the office before looking for the bird.

Several SNOW OWLS were reported during the week. Two at the South Jetty of
the Columbia River, one at Bullard?s Beach State Park near Bandon, one along
Pine Mountain Road near Millican, and one that was killed by traffic along
I-5 at Tualatin.

On November 22 a HARRIS?S SPARROW joined the WHITE-THROATED, SWAMP, and
CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS at the bird seed at Millicoma Marsh near Coos Bay.
Nearby were BLACK-THROATED GRAY, ORANGE-CROWNED, and TOWNSEND?S WARBLERS.
The male COSTA?S HUMMINGBIRD continues to visit Barbara Griffin?s feeders in
North Bend. On November 16 a NASHVILLE WARBLER was seen on the North Spit of
Coos Bay.

On November 19 nine SHORT-EARED OWLS were along Livermore Road near
Perrydale. The BLACK PHOEBE continues to be seen at the south end of
Livermore Road. On November 18 a SNOW BUNTING was at the top of Marys Peak
southwest of Philomath. A male COSTA?S HUMMINGBIRD was seen November 21 at
Merlin in the Rogue Valley.

That?s it for this week.
