The discussion of lemmings, food sources, weather conditions, and habitat have been very helpful and very interesting. But the connection to the Harry Potter movie release, on this Thanksgiving morning, provides a sense of whimsy that makes me smile.
Thank you.

Subject: [Tweeters] Snowy owls at Luhr Beach
Hi Tweeters,
I just returned from another trip to Luhr Beach, this time with my son Deyland. We arrived at 9:30 am or so. It was approximately 5 degrees above absolute zero. We found the snowy owl at the exact same spot as yesterday, and located a second owl on the spit. Deyland is conviced this is somehow related to the release of the new Harry Potter movie.
