Dennis Duffy just let me know that a Snowy Owl was on the Edmonds
Marina breakwater yesterday and today was seen on the roof of a house
on Sunset Avenue, just three houses south of Edmonds Street. I
jumped in the car and ran down to see it. Just gorgeous. It is
sitting atop a bubble skylight on a brick house. I went looking for
the Snowy at the Big Ditch yesterday and it was not to be seen. I
muttered that it had probably headed south. Little did I dream that
it was in Edmonds. (I'd like to assume it is the Big Ditch owl
heading south. Just an assumption though).
