My wife and I observed a 1st-year Snowy Owl this afternoon (Sunday), circa 4:00 p.m., on Ediz Hook, Port Angeles. It sat on grass just north of the airstrip in the Coast Guard facility. Judging from another observer, the bird was there at least 15 minutes. It flew out of sight into the harbor about 4:10.

Whether this is the same bird reported from a nearby spot last Sunday afternoon is unclear.
