This morning at Big Ditch access in Snohomish County a single Snow Bunting
flew over the dike while calling. Also had a Great Egret there but no Snowy
Owl. The Skagit and Samish Flats produced plenty of raptors, including 25-30
Rough-legged Hawks. At the end of the day there were 2 Snowy Owls visible
from the dike near the North Fork access, and another, more immaculate white
bird seen from Jensen Access. Large numbers of Short-eared Owls were very
active at Fir Island and West 90.
