Subject: [Tweeters] Nisqually Reach/Luhr Beach Snowy Owls

There were at least two SNOWY OWLS visible from the fishing dock at the
Nisqually Reach Nature Center (or whatever it's called, can't think of it at
the moment) when I got there today a little before 1:30 pm. Windy
conditions made for difficult scoping, and it was Cold! Two other people
were scoping the birds and I think all three of us got looks as good as
could be expected, given how far away the birds were and how the wind
affected the scopes.

I did only a cursory look around, and in addition to the waterfowl and
raptors you'd kind of expect, there was at least one PACIFIC LOON.

Good birding,
Mary
