Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Wednesday November 30. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

On November 21 a EURASIAN COLLARED-DOVE was seen in Baker City. It was not
relocated. The Coburg FALCATED DUCK continues to be seen, but is a bit
erratic. On November 24 a CURLEW SANDPIPER was reported on the beach north
of the mouth of the Siuslaw River.

Up to three SNOWY OWLS are now at the South Jetty of the Columbia River and
one is at the South Jetty of Yaquina Bay. On November 29 one was on the
North Spit of Coos Bay. One is now being seen south of Marine Drive at the
Portland Airport.

Large flocks of CALIFORNIA and HERRING GULLS are still being reported along
the coast. On November 26 a SNOW BUNTING was at Seal Rocks State Park and 25
were at the mouth of the Necanicum River in Seaside. On November 27 a
TROPICAL KINGBIRD was along Youngs Bay Loop Road south of Astoria. A male
BULLOCK?S ORIOLE is now coming to an Astoria feeder.

On November 24 a WILSON?S WARBLER was at the Rhododendron Gardens in
Eastmoreland Park in Portland. On November 27 a BARN SWALLOW was flying over
Scoggins Valley Park south of Forest Grove. A COMMON LOON, two HORNED
GREBES, and 15 WESTERN GREBE were also seen there. A large gathering of BALD
EAGLES was seen November 26 along I-5 near Coburg. On November 25 a GLAUCOUS
GULL was north of the Eugene Airport. Fifteen WHITE-TAILED KITES were
recently noted around Fern Ridge Reservoir. On November 25 a BLACK SCOTER
was at Gold Ray Dam on the Rogue River.

A CATBIRD was seen November 26 west of Bend. A BEWICK?S WREN was at
Prineville Reservoir November 25.
