Mary,

We saw the Clay-colored Sparrow last Monday morning in the place folks have
been describing. It associates loosely with Golden-crowned & White-crowned
Sparrows and is noticeably smaller than they are. The CCSP stays pretty much
off the ground in the short "trees" and landscape grasses on which it feeds.
