This morning Rich Siegrist saw 50-70 Gr. White-fronted Geese migrating south over Colvos Passage and Vashon Island.

This afternoon, I saw about 30 Turkey Vultures were headed south and west over the southern tip of Vashon Island.

There seems to have been a bumper crop of evergreen huckleberries on the island and Hermit Thrushes appear to be much more common than usual or at least easier to observe as they go after the berries.
