Lot's of bird movement this morning. I found a imm. male Anna's hummingbird on the corner of 9th and Spruce St. in a crab apple tree. It appeared to be eating sap from the tree. it was also taking a harassment from a ruby-crowned kinglet who was singing a full song and that is waht drew my attention to the tree. I tried for a photo op. but in trying to get to a decent distance the bird flew to the west, towards my house! what a yard bird if it shows up there!, never to be seen again. Hopefully it will stay around.

This is probably the first for Adams Co. I am not aware of any others. It is also a bird I have been expecting for years.
