Just before three o'clock today I counted 23 Turkey Vultures flying in a
ragged flock towards Husky Stadium at 100-200 feet of elevation. I was
observing them from the intersection of 25th Ave NE and NE 55th St. I
guess they were looking for a thermal or a favorable wind to lift them over
Capitol Hill.
