Subject: [Tweeters] Scarlet Tanager, Bassett Park, Washtucna

Mike Denny just called me and said he and Merrilynn (hope that spelling is correct?) had a tanager that had dark wings a without wing bars. The bird was greenish yellow and was seen at two spots over a period of three hours. This could mean the bird may stick around. It was first located at the little waterway through the park and then at the pipe where water enters a cement pipe (found adjacent and east of the swimming pool).

If anyone has the time it might be worth a look. He also said the area was crawling with migrants.
