Several birders Dave Jackson, Judy Jackson, Igor Ahorvic and myself
spent varying amounts of time waiting for the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper to show
up on a rising tide with no luck. A Merlin did zip over with prey in its
talon and proceded to to eat it in a distant perch. Also we had up to 20
cowbirds riding on the 4 horses.
