If I was any good at predicting the future, I'd be able to
afford much fancier binoculars than the ones I own, but...

I would be very surprised if there was a "land rush". of birders.
Most of the habitat is very difficult to access and the Ivory-
billed densities are rarified. Most birder land rushes occur
when the bird is staked out.

Yes, there will be a few birders standing in the parking lot
nearest the last sighting, but until a glimpse can be guaranteed
I wouldn't be investing in any woodpecker tour futures....
