I must say I agree with Mike's logic and with George's sentiment. As much as I'd love to make the Ivory Billed my 23rd ABA picid, I'm content to let the scientists and naturalists do their thing and help this bird stage a comeback, if that's possible.

Yes, there will be a few birders standing in the parking lot
nearest the last sighting, but until a glimpse can be guaranteed
I wouldn't be investing in any woodpecker tour futures....
