Are swifts the most advanced form of life on earth?

Maybe. Read
http://www.freespeech.org/amygdala/articles/scimaths/swift.htm
and decide for yourself. Simon Whitechapel

When I tried the link I got a error 404. Bet you will too. I tracked
one down that does work.

I'm willing to give you the condensed version.

First of all one needs to know that Simon Whitechapel's main connection
to science is that of science fiction writer. For one to embrace any
of his reasoning on this you need to also embrace the concept of
evolution.
I've always felt Charlie D. presented some pretty good ideas. Anyway,
Whitechapel reasons that if life on earth evolved from water to land to
air, then those creatures most adapted to the air are the most advanced.
What group is the most air adapted? There are probably some
Albatrosses or other pelagic species that would give the swifts a run
for the title.

Not that exciting an argument is it?
