Tweets - I stopped at a couple of places on my way to Anacortes and the San
Juans.

At the Skagit WMA, while I didn't find either the waterthrush nor the
scrub-jay, I did have a great look at a HERMIT THRUSH and a PEREGRINE
FALCON.

At the Hayden access I had my first NORTHERN SHRIKE of the fall. There was
also a lingering OSPREY.

At Jensen access, I had a "YELLOW-SHAFTED" FLICKER.

>From the ferry I had all three cormorants, at least 100 COMMON MURRES, a
dozen or so RHINOCEROUS AUKLETS, and two MARBLED MURRELETS. There were also
several Bonapartes and Heerman's Gulls.

Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated all day long.
