Good Morning Tweeters-
Speaking of birds eating nightshade berries , as we were last week w/ the
pheasant at the Montlake fill. Today I saw a Song Sparrow eating
Nightshade Berries at Wallace Swamp Creek Park in Kenmore. I watched
carefully for several minutes to make sure he wasn't just picking bugs
off the nightshade plant . I could clearly see it pick and eat the
berries. I have also watched Song Sparrows eat Black Berries Until that
day I'd only known them to eat bugs and seeds.
