Fresh from the blackberry thicket to your door.

In the company of Paula (congratulations on 2005 WA bird # 300!!) and Aaron,
we found . . . among the Songs, Lincolns, Golden-crowneds, White-crowneds,
and Savannahs . . . what we're pretty darn sure is the Spizella in question.
The bird distinguishes itself as smaller and brighter than the other
sparrows . . . maybe a bit more "flitty" in the way it moves as well.

Here are a few shots. Pictures 4-7 show the bird on the right grooming next
to a Savannah on the left for a helpful comparison.
