This morning, I and several other birders saw the CLAY-COLORED SPARROW
at Marymoor Park in Renton. The bird was in the same location as
reported yesterday, in the thickety foliage beside the compost piles
near parking Lot G. It was in a big mixed flock of sparrows and
finches, which included 2 LINCOLN'S SPARROWS and 2 FOX SPARROWS. Also
of interest, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER joined the sparrow flock for a
few minutes, and a COMMON RAVEN and a MERLIN flew over.
