Sorry for any offense on my response to dogs.

Anyway, I was visiting a friend on Capitol Hill in Seattle yesterday afternoon. Heard a junco "smacking" in the brush, and spotted a beautiful bird of the slate-colored race. Not my first in Seattle, but not one I see often. I pointed it out to my friend who thought it was a beautiful little bird. Excellent color, looked freshly molted. Cheers!
