Tweets,
Located and had great looks at the Clay-colored
sparrow at Marymoor Park this morning (Sun, 10/9,
~8:00 AM).
It was where previously described, North of the
compost pile that is east of Parking Lot G, in the
tall grasses in front (south) of the Blackberry
bramble.
Had good looks for comparisons with WC, GC, Lincolns,
Song, Savannah, and Fox sparrows in the same area.
And the oddball was an Orange-crowned Warbler foraging
in the same area with the sparrows!
To the only other birder I saw out there looking early
this AM, I located the bird RIGHT where we were both
looking, about 10 minutes AFTER you left ;)
Good Luck the next time you come looking!
Guy
