There was a CHICKEN near the pond in Golden Gardens Park this morning.
Large, white with Gray and black streaking. I'm almost certain this is
a domestic chicken, probably released. Is this a possible disease
threat to the waterfowl on the pond? The AMERICAN WIGEONS have arrived
in small numbers 20 or so, and c. 5 NORTHERN SHOVELERS. Also a SPOTTED
TOWHEE AND 2 ANNA'S HUMMINGBIRDS chasing.
I don't get much of a chance to do any real birding anymore, it's hard
when my Dad's with me, He's getting quite frail these days...
