Thursday Oct. 13 while on the job I noticed a Say's Phoebe in Lewis County west and south of Chehalis on Tune Road. To get there take Hwy 6 west out of Chehalis and turn south onto Hwy 603. After going up a steep grade turn left onto Tune Rd. The birds was sitting on top of some tall post (20 ft) that is sticking up which is the beginnings of a pole barn. This is on the left side before getting to the bottom of the hill. Don't know if it will stick around. This is a code 4 bird for the county, which means it is quite rare, but more than 5 records.
