Search for ivory-billed woodpecker featured Sunday on '60 Minutes'

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Last spring's news of the rediscovery of the Ivory-billed
Woodpecker - undocumented in the United States for six decades - stunned
birders, scientists, conservationists and the general public around the
world. Now the news of the rediscovery effort, led by the Cornell Laboratory
of Ornithology and The Nature Conservancy, will be featured on CBS News' "60
Minutes" this Sunday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. EDT.
