hi tweeters-it was a very high tide day in puget sound.11.8 ' at ~3:40p.m.- i saw a good # of bbplovers thru my scope out on the tulalip spit, so i kayaked out there - to my great + pleasant surprise there were 2 marbled godwits ,2 red knots-1 juv, for sure + 3-4 dunlins w/ the flock of ? 60+ bbplovers- my records indicate that the last time i saw marbled godwits there was in oct.2002(.so certainly not a common sighting here). there were 6 adult bald eagles near the spit + about 6 western grebes while i kayaked out there.-
