Hi Tweets:

East Lake Washington Audubon's field trip to Camano Island turned up some
unexpected bird species. A Hermit Thrush was seen at Livingston Bay and a
Northern Shrike was seen at Triangle Cove. A breeding plummaged Red-throated Loon
was scoped at Cavalaro County Park. It was on lovely Saturday, Oct. 15th day
with 69 species seen/heard. Most species were seen on Camano Island, but a few
were seen from the Stanwood Treatment Ponds. At Eide Rd. there were scoped
looks at both Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs. At Iverson Spit, a Western
Meadowlark perched on a pole and Snow Geese could be seen in the sky. Two Turkey
Vultures were seen: one from the treatment ponds and another from along I-5,
south of Stanwood. Large numbers of Western Grebe could be seen from most of the
water stops.
