Hello Everyone,

Again at 9 a.m. this morning I observed a female or young Black-throated
Blue Warbler in our yard in Parker Heights, near Wapato. It was flycatching
along
with Ruby-crowned Kinglets in the small fall-colored sumac trees on the west
side of our driveway, just 15 feet from the steps to the front door. It
especially likes to climb up the multi-branched walnut tree, which pokes
above the sumacs.

A rare bird flitting among the bright fall colors: scarlets and brilliant
yellows, makes a pleasing scene, posing for a photo...

Birders are welcome! Take I-82 from Yakima east to Exit 40. Go right 2 miles
to West Parker Heights. Make a left, Go 1/2 mile to Windy Point Drive.
Left there and up the road 1/3 mile to a roiw of conifers. Shrp right just
after these trees to our home is the only house on the lane.

The wine tasting room, just up the hill, is open (at least today, closed
Tuesday and Wednesday) for your pleasure after you view the warbler!
