Hi Tweeters and (I don't have the message sender in vue again);

Actually, I was feeling guilty of being lazy and using that abbreviation (SPGR). When I saw the message was aimed at me, I dug out an over-priced book I once ordered from Lynx Edicions (Bird Life International) titled: Threatened Birds of the World (2000), and looked up "Spotted Greenshank." Lo and behold, there really was such a bird! If I ever did unknowingly see one, it probably would've been at Pohang, Korea in the early 1960's. I saw a lot more unidentified shorebirds there than I did in Vietnam.

Happy Birding!

p.s. This alternate email address of mine is rather new, but I already received occasional
scam offers. I created s special folder to store them in. So far they are from foreign sources. I have not responded to any of them.
