The warbler was found this morning at 7:55 AM in the same russian olive tree
as Mike had reported yesterday. I was a little nervous this morning when I
arrived at 7:35 and saw a sharp-shinned hawk buzzing the olive. There were
many yellow-rumpeds. Finally the prothonotary popped up into the upper
portions of the russian olive at 7:55 and made a brief appearance before
disappearing low. It was refound about 10 minutes later and was being seen
fairly consistently at 8:30 when I left. When the early morning sun hit the
bird breast... wow! A gorgeous bird on a crisp sunny morning! Thanks Mike!
