The juvenile Green Heron continues at Green Lake. Today the bird was
sitting out in the open, on a log, in the sun, just a bit north of the Small
Craft Center. In the bright sun, one could see the bird's beautiful
coloration. A number of people walked by and asked my husband and I what it
was; they were very surprised to know there was such a thing as a Green
Heron and were delighted to see it.
