Subject: [Tweeters] Gas Prices and Birding Trips

The cost of gasoline has certainly curtailed my birding travels and other trips as well; I also started walking to work or taking the bus 2 - 3 days a week and have also used public transportation to make a trip to Seattle to visit galleries and the art museum. For $5 round-trip with no parking or other traffic hassles, it was a very positive experience, and only slightly more time costly.

Cheers!
