Dear Tweeters,

I am doing just as much birding as usual, but somewhat
fewer trips outside twenty-mile radius. Luckily, I
live in the boonies, so I am doing a lot of birding in
my yard, on walks nearby, and some little patches
within two or three miles. However, I was stunned on
Sunday when I realized I had just spent sixteen bucks
on a little "round the county" birding day, one that
used to cost me three or four dollars!
