Hi Penny and Tweeters,

I was also down at JBP, but a little later, and my count of Wilson's Snipes
was 27 at the end of the causeway, along with 2 more in the inner cove. Had
been planning on posting this as well, because in the years I've been
surveying JBP, this is the highest number ever.17 had been the high count.
Pretty amazing.
Also had a tan-stripe WHITE-THROATED SPARROW on the fire station road, and a
HERMIT THRUSH on the far west boardwalk. Yesterday, among the returning
ducks, were 3 female NORTHERN PINTAILS, a species we see only occasionally.
