Hi-

Three times in the last month or so, my feeders (4 of them) have been
destroyed ( or, at least, severely beaten up) during the night with the
feeder poles bent/broken. I assume this is the work of a bear, as I know
they are quite fond of bird seed. Each time, all seed from the feeders
disappears.

As it is becoming quite expensive to replace the feeders, I was curious if
anyone had any suggestions for 'bearproofing'. I don't want to stop feeding
and I do enjoy the fact that we have bears around.
I live in the unincorporated area of Redmond adjacent to the new Redmond
Ridge development, so I am assuming that all the building in Redmond Ridge
is driving them my direction.

Thanks
Mike
