Today I did not find any tricolored blackbirds at the Para Pond area there were about 40 yellow-headed blackbirds and 30 cowbirds. On Morgan Lake Rd into Columbia NWR I had a northern shrike who tried to take a house finch. Also at Columbia NWR there was a peregrine falcon at McManoman Lake, at Migraine Lake 2 dowitchers presumed to be long-billed and there were 2 loggerhead shrikes along Morgan Lake Rd. Potholes Res from the dam there were 3 common loon and 4 western grebe. At Potholes State Park there was nothing unusual but out into the reservoir I counted 109 Bonaparte's gulls.
