Subject: [Tweeters] Herman Reserve - Snohomish

Spent a morning scouting photo ops along the Snohomish river and ended
up at Herman Wildlife preserve.
Spotted were 1 Sharp-shinned hawk,1 Great Egret, 1 lesser(maybe
greater?) Yellowlegs and a flock (13) of Short-billed Dowitchers. I've
only seen them closer to the ocean. They were probing away, right next
to the yellowlegs; it made an interesting contrast. 2 Widgeon and
thousands of Mallard. The ducks were very easily spooked because of the
early morning hunters.
