Tweets,

Listening to NPR's Weekend Edition this morning, I heard a good piece about hurricanes and birds as told by an Audubon president in Alabama. He talks about how the sea birds are blown inland (he lives 100 plus miles n. of the Gulf) and results in gulls and terns falling out onto boxstore parking lots. It's a good, and rather amusing story (for a change) about how the storm has boosted county and yard lists, etc. Check it out at www.npr.org, and scroll down to Weekend Edition Sunday--the title is The Secret Relationship between Birds and Hurricanes. Have fun listening!
