Hi-

We have a trip planned to Playa del Carmen, Mexico around Christmas time
this year. Assuming we actually go (i.e hurricane cleanup is to our
satisfaction), I was curious if anyone could give me any suggestions for
birding in this area during this time period. It will be a family trip, so
I won't have a ton of time to bird (an hour or two here and there plus maybe
a day trip or two to see ruins etc.).

I have the Howell 'A Bird Finding Guide to Mexico', as well as 'Birds of
Mexico and Northern Central America'.
