Here the highlights of a trip to the coast that Mike Fleming and I went on
today:

Rock Sandpiper (8 at Westport Marina off float 21 at high tide; 1 at Brown's
Point Jetty)
Bar-tailed Godwit (2 immatures still at Tokeland Marina)
Clark's Grebe (2 at Tokeland Marina just off platform)
Lapland Longspur (1 seen well at Oyehut WA about 50ft short of inlet)
Eurasian Wigeon (3 males at Bill's Spit, Ocean Shores)
Harlequin Duck (1 female at Westport Marina off float 20)

Our first stop in the morning on incoming tide was Midway Beach, where we
tried for over an hour to find a Snowy Plower, and failed. Also, beware that
the access to the Ocean Shores STP (sewage treatment plant) has changed:
There is a new fence all along the back side so that one can no longer enter
the ponds themselves.
