Hello All,
On 30 Oct. MerryLynn and I birded western Walla Walla Co. and located some
interesting species. They were....
Walla Walla River delta
Dunlin.........36 birds
Common Loon.......24 birds, this is the highest number of loons we have ever
seen off the delta or in the Lower Columbia Basin on the Columbia River.
Casey Pond
Tundra Swan...........7 birds
Canvasback.............19 birds
Western Grebes.......9 birds
Horned Grebe..........2 birds
McNary NWR,HQ
Orange-crowned Warbler.....4 birds
Lincoln's Sparrow.................1 bird
Met up with Dennis Rockwell here and enjoyed the birding and the visit.
