Until last year I worked near the former Boeing headquarters at Longacres and witnessed their bedtime routine every evening. There is a huge roost on Oakesdale Ave, south of I-405, and another on Lind Ave just south of the FAA building. You may be familiar with the Stonehenge replica in an office complex there, and it boggles the mind to see thousands of crows circling around it in the purple dusk. I've only named two of the roosts, but actually, that entire area southwest of the juncture of Highway 167 and I-405 is one big roost. Even about a mile south at the corner of 212th and West Valley Highway, there are some corporate parks that are visited by hundreds of crows every afternoon; I was at one of them last week and a co-worker said that the crows arrive every day at 3 p.m. It wasn't clear what they were doing, because there isn't any significant food source there, but line the rooftops and strut through the parking lot they did.
