I enjoyed reading about Kathy's "bird magic". "Bird magic" is what gets me
out there too and I am never disappointed. Thanks for introducing this
term, Kathy.

I had two "bird magic" moments yesterday right from my own house. I feed
whole peanuts to Steller Jays every day into hanging tray feeder from an
upstairs window. I had put out two scoops full yesterday but one young
Steller did not think this was enough and pecked at my window and sqwarked
with the clear intention of telling me so. Another scoop was delivered!

My second "bird magic" moment came in the evening from another upstairs
window. Light rain had just begun and I heard singing, singing, singing.
After some careful looking I discovered a Bewicks Wren perched on a tiny
laurel twig singing its little heart out for the joy of rain.

I would love to read about the "bird magic" moments of others.
