A couple of weeks ago I saw a Eurasian Collared Dove on Ruston Way between
Les Davis Pier and The Lobster Shop, foraging with some Rock Doves. A woman
got within two feet of it and bent down to pick it up, and it flew away.
She got really close. I figured that it was a local escapee, so didn't
report it. It was a beautiful bird.
