Hello Tweeters,

A starving juvenile seabird, possibly a parasitic jeager?, was brought to my
vet clinic yesterday. It expired last night.

It is a small gull-like bird with narrow pointy wings. The mantle is mottled
black and brown. Head and neck are mottled brown. Head and forehead are
somewhat darker than the neck feathers. Breast is white. Central tail
feathers are about 2cm longer than the outer feathers. Rump has a small
white patch. Primary feather shafts are white and primary feathers are
lighter closer to the base. Legs are light blue with black toes. Bill is
light blue with a black tip.

Any ideas? I've got it in my freezer if anyone is interested. I could also
provide photos if someone would be kind enough to allow me to post them.

Thanks!
