Took a quick run out to Edmonds today, but was partially thwarted by the Mon-Thurs closure of the fishing pier for heavy construction. The sign says it is open Fri-Sun. I walked over to Brackets Landing where there were lots of Common Terns and Heerman's Gulls perched on floating stuff, a few Mew gulls, 2 Rhino Auklets, 1 C. Murre, 1 Pigeon Guillemot., 1 young GBH. No martins or murrelets. Scope required--all but GW Gulls were too far away for rewarding bino views. The mountains and sun were lovely.
